This past week my mother
and I decided to take apart these old computers and TVs, it was partially for
fun and the other just to see what was inside so curiosity.
I have always considered technology a form of
art as anyone should but I have never put it to the test. From the moment we took off all the screws
and opened up the first computer I noticed that one I didn’t understand nearly
as much as I thought I did about computers and two there is a lot of technique
and design that goes into building them. I am sure you have heard someone
somewhere says, “That doctor give stiches of perfection” well that is because
they have a technique that is like a fingerprint, one of a kind. Even though
the only thing I knew inside of this amazing design behind this technology was
copper, I felt like I slowly started to learn the other elements incorporated
in the design behind each computer and TV.
I myself have not figured out what my signature is but it helps when you
are looking at someone else’s work because you can learn. Yes in this case it is a bit different, if
you are an artist like me at first you will look at this example in an odd way
trying to figure out how can I learn from this, well you can. In all reality, you can learn from just about
anything no matter what your profession is, the fun thing about it is you can
chose what to learn from and when you want to learn it. I find it to be in my words “stellar” when I
learn from things that have nothing to do with what I want to do, only because
they actually do relate to what I do. Technology
is design its just in its own form. Its
time to learn from other aspects of life not just what you think caters to you.
